Goal of the work: Development of new rational and effective methods of combating desertification and soil degradation in unfavorable environmental conditions in the territories of the Caspian region.

Relevance of the work: The expected results can be applied to land reclamation in other similar regions. New biological products can be used in other regions of Kazakhstan.

Results obtained: Within the framework of the research project, the “Trend Analyzer (NDVI / CI / LST)” software was developed, enabling efficient analysis of environmental time-series data. The results demonstrated that the use of scientifically grounded grass mixtures and biopreparations contributes to the restoration of soil-plant systems, increasing vegetation cover up to 60% by the second year. A multifactorial study was conducted across the Makat, Beineu, and Isatay regions to evaluate the effects of different plant species and biopreparations. The soils were found to be saline with alkaline characteristics, significantly influencing plant productivity. The application of biopreparations, particularly Bio 2, resulted in a biomass and yield increase of up to 18%. Statistical analysis confirmed the reliability and significance of the obtained results. The outcomes demonstrate a high scientific and technical level and have strong potential for application in combating desertification and land degradation.
