BR24993051 — Development of an intelligent city system based on IoT and data analysis

Goal of the work: Development of an intelligent urban system using IoT technologies, data analysis to improve the quality of life of citizens, optimize urban infrastructure management, and promote the sustainable development of the city.

Relevance of the work: In modern society, citizens expect more comfortable, safe and environmentally friendly living conditions. IoT systems in smart cities can significantly improve urban resource management, reduce pollution, optimize traffic flows and improve safety, as well as provide faster and better access to important services, improving the daily lives of citizens. Businesses and government agencies are interested in optimizing costs and improving operational efficiency. IoT systems allow you to collect and analyze data in real time, which helps to improve management decisions and reduce operating costs. This makes business processes more efficient and economical, which is especially important in conditions of limited resources.

Results obtained:  During the reporting period, a comprehensive set of research activities was carried out aimed at the digital transformation of urban environment, healthcare, and infrastructure. IoT-based air quality monitoring systems were developed and deployed, along with machine learning algorithms for analyzing and forecasting environmental indicators based on sensor data. Digital solutions for cleanroom microclimate control were created, including databases, hardware-software modules, and climate system optimization algorithms. Mathematical models and digital services were implemented to optimize medical processes and day-care (hospital-substituting) services, improving resource utilization efficiency. A digital platform for citizen participation in urban governance was developed, together with Smart People–oriented recommendations to enhance urban livability. In addition, research and pilot implementations of telecommunications solutions (DAS, 5G) were conducted, demonstrating the effectiveness and applicability of the proposed approaches in dense urban environments.
