AP19680360 — Modeling of the stress-strain state of mountain massifs during the development of ore deposits based on complex geomechanical and geophysical studies
Purpose: To develop a technology for geomechanical assessment of the condition of the worked-out space during underground mining of solid minerals in difficult mining and geological conditions based on comprehensive geomechanical and geophysical studies
Relevance: The project is relevant in the context of the intensification of underground mining in difficult mining and geological conditions, where the risk of geodynamic phenomena and emergencies increases. Modern technologies of geomechanical and geophysical analysis make it possible to improve the accuracy of assessing the condition of the mountain range, identify dangerous areas in a timely manner, and ensure the safety and efficiency of mining operations. The implementation of the project will contribute to the improvement of industrial safety, the sustainable development of mining enterprises and the rational use of mineral resources.

Results obtained: The study evaluated the effectiveness of 2D seismic profiling for solving mining and geological problems at the Zhomart mine site. A comprehensive analysis of geophysical and geomechanical data was carried out, and a digital database of mining and geological information was developed and systematized. Processing of seismic data resulted in high-quality time and depth sections, enabling the identification of tectonic disturbances, structural features, and collapse zones. A geological and geomechanical model was developed to predict the stress-strain state of the rock mass and the boundaries of collapse zones. The results demonstrated the high efficiency of seismic methods in complex underground mining conditions and justified their application at both design and operational stages. The findings contribute to improving safety and efficiency in mining operations.
