AP25796769 – Technology for obtaining effective thermal insulation material based on composite binder and woodworking waste
Objective of the project – Creation of a composite material, primarily intended for thermal insulation, but also having high strength characteristics, using sapropel as a binder and woodworking waste as a filler.
Relevance: Currently, there is a growing demand for environmentally friendly and affordable construction materials. The market lacks eco-friendly binders, and their cost remains high. Efficient recycling of woodworking waste is also an important issue. Therefore, the development of new materials based on sapropel is highly relevant.
Scientific supervisor: PhD, Meruert Bolatkyzy Karimova.
Expected and achieved results: The project is expected to result in the development of environmentally friendly thermal insulation materials with high physical, mechanical, and performance properties. An efficient technology for processing woodworking waste using natural sapropel has been proposed. The study examines methods for improving the morphology and structure of wood particles and identifies optimal processing techniques. The resulting materials can be widely applied in the construction industry. Additionally, the project contributes to environmental improvement and import substitution.
