AP22685109 – Investigation of properties and development of technology for obtaining sorption-filtering materials from domestic raw materials and their use for water purification from heavy metals "
Purpose: to obtain sorbents based on silicophosphate using technological waste from the ore dressing process), conducting research to determine their physico-chemical properties. Subsequently, these sorbents will be used to purify water from heavy metals such as Cu2+, Cd2+, and Co2+.
Relevance: The project is relevant in the context of growing volumes of industrial waste and pollution of water resources. The use of technological waste from ore processing to create effective sorbents allows us to simultaneously solve environmental problems and obtain economically profitable materials for water purification from heavy metals.
Scientific supervisor: Kalymbet Arailym
Expected and achieved results: New sorbents from ore processing waste solve important environmental problems: waste recycling reduces environmental damage, and the ability of sorbents to remove heavy metals protects water resources. Their use will potentially make water purification economically profitable and resource-saving.
