"TECHNOPARK STROYTECH" Research Laboratory of Construction and Construction Materials
Objective: The objective of the TECHNOPARK STROYTECH Research Laboratory of Construction and Construction Materials is to conduct comprehensive studies of construction materials, products, and structures to ensure their compliance with regulatory requirements, improve the quality and durability of construction facilities, and develop and implement new technical regulation standards for the construction sector. The laboratory also conducts research into modern technologies and materials for implementation in the construction industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Tasks:
- to conduct research and development (R&D) and engineering activities aimed at the development, testing, and improvement of construction materials with enhanced physical, mechanical, and operational characteristics;
- to carry out scientific, expert, measurement, and testing work on a contractual basis to assess the strength, durability, resistance to external influences, and environmental safety of construction materials and structures;
- to conduct joint scientific research with domestic and foreign universities, scientific centres, and research institutes;
- to participate in international scientific and technical projects, conferences, forums, and exhibitions;
- to test construction materials (concrete, cement, aggregates, etc.) in accordance with the requirements of the state system of technical regulation and accreditation of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
- to organise and conduct comprehensive testing of construction products and materials, analyse their characteristics, and prepare expert opinions and recommendations;
- to ensure the objectivity, reliability, and completeness of test results and their compliance with regulatory requirements, and to maintain test records and reporting documentation;
- to ensure the functioning and continuous improvement of the laboratory's quality management system and to enhance the quality of services provided;
- to create conditions for the commercialisation of developed technologies, the transfer of scientific developments into production, and the attraction of investment;
- to develop cooperation with construction industry enterprises and scientific organisations, including through public-private partnership mechanisms;
- to ensure the effective use of the laboratory's material and technical base, including modern testing equipment and analytical methods;
- to ensure the stable and continuous operation of the laboratory.
Types of services:
- assessment of the physical and mechanical properties of materials;
- rheological studies of construction mixtures;
- calorimetric analysis of hydration processes;
- microstructural analysis (SEM, EDS).
