AP15573645 «Development of HPL Composite Board Production Technology from Local Low-Value Raw Materials with Simultaneous Output of Low-Toxic Amino-Aldehyde Resins»
SDG: 9 Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure
Amount: grant — 299,820,000; co-financing — 76,382,560
Project Lead: L.B. Sabirova, Candidate of Technical Sciences
Grantee: Alternative Technologies LLP
Location: Almaty Region, Kargaly village
Product: HPL boards
Current status: Post-implementation
Project goal: Production of ready-to-use HPL boards coated with composite veneer based on local low-value raw materials.
Current results: Conformity certificate No. 0001143 dated 26.01.2024 received from the Kaskad testing laboratory. Several comprehensive studies conducted.
Advantages: Cost savings by eliminating expensive painting operations (grinding, priming, secondary grinding, first coat). Replacing imported paints reduces costs by 2,000–3,000 KZT per m².
Efficiency: Serial production of composite materials using amino-aldehyde resins as matrix.
Consumers: Construction and furniture industry. Saran Kaltsiy LLP.
