AP15573569 «Production of Bioprotein Based on Natural Gas»
SDG: 12 Responsible Consumption and Production
Amount: grant — 175,000,000 KZT; co-financing — 35,000,000 KZT
Project Lead: E.K. Bektai
Grantee: BMC Kazakhstan LLP
Location: Almaty Region, AKH Kazmis, plot 306
Product: Bioprotein (feed)
Current status: Implementation stage
Project goal: Organize bioprotein production based on natural gas processing.
Current results: Bioprotein obtained during scaled-up technology trials. A 50 m³ bioreactor is being prepared for operation.
Advantages: Production of protein-rich feed without two technological processing stages. Environmentally clean protein obtained without organic synthesis products.
Efficiency: High content of lysine and other proteins — up to 75%. 1 ton of bioprotein can replace 6–7 tons of wheat.
Consumers: Full-value protein intended for use in food industry, pharmaceuticals, cosmetology, and animal husbandry.
Sales: 21,025,000 KZT
